The 20-year-old Ontario native, who was in Toronto this past weekend, did not appear in court.

Bieber turned himself in to Toronto Police in late January.

According to police, officers responded to a call in the early morning hours of Dec. 30, 2013 about an alleged assault in the Dundas Street West and University Avenue area.

A limo driver who had picked up six people at a nightclub at Peter Street and Adelaide Street West claimed he was struck several times in the head by one of the passengers during an altercation en route to a hotel.

Bieber was charged this month with assault and dangerous driving in Perth County, Ont. — near his hometown of Stratford — following an incident involving paparazzi. The case is scheduled to go to court Sept. 29. Bieber does not have to appear.

The singer pleaded guilty in August to careless driving and resisting arrest following a January arrest in Miami Beach. He was fined $500 and ordered to attend anger management classes.
